We will cover the equipment needed to shoot Fusion properly, (a lot which you probably already own) as well as some advanced gadgets and toys you can grow into. We will show you how to use use video in other areas of your business for marketing and PR. We will preview fusion videos we have created ourselves over the past three years since Digital SLRs were introduced to photographers, including engagement fusion, wedding fusion, and commercial fusion. You get to shoot so bring your cameras! We will have models to photograph and each person will get time to photograph the models One-On-One, with plenty of time for capturing your own still and video images in order to begin to put together your own fusion video and add to your portfolio. We will demonstrate how to utilize some fun and creative techniques that you can incorporate in your Fusion Videos that will help you stand out, such as time laps, and stop-motion using just stills or video. You will learn how to tell a story using video which is a little different that just shooting stills alone. We will discuss fusion work flow and how to download, store and convert your media before your begin putting your fusion video together. We will discuss all your editing options including outsourcing, and your options for delivering your product to your clients and the rest of the world. For those who want to learn more about editing there will be an optional second day where we will spend the day learning editing techniques from the basic edit in iMovie© to the more advanced Final Cut©. We will teach you a few things that you will need to know so you can start editing your own Fusion videos - it’s not as daunting as you think. We will use someone’s video footage and stills from the day before to create his/her very own sample Fusion Video! As a bonus to whoever wants to tag along, watch or help, Robert and Solomon will shoot their own Fusion Video on the Las Vegas Strip at the conclusion of the first day of workshop.
